Shannon and Mike have given a wonderful home to five Big Valley foals!

Cloud came to me as I was saying goodbye to my oldest and dearest friend. Pistol and I had been a team for over 30 years and I was certain it would be the end of my journey with horses. Big Valley knew better. They knew it was just the beginning of a beautiful bond that will no doubt last another thirty years.

It was no accident that we found Cloud when we did. Sometimes he’s stubborn and sometimes he does just about everything wrong but most of the time he gets the job done. He’s honest and never quits trying. He is smart and kind and always ready for snuggles and kisses. He is as close to perfect as he can get.   Jenny

 Poco is now 14 years old. He has been my riding partner for the past 1 1/2 years. He and I are learning ranch riding. He is also learning the AQHA all around by doing western pleasure, horsemanship and trail along with showmanship. 

 We also enjoy going out for a long trail ride. Well at least I do! He would probably rather be in the field with his friends eating.     Reena

 It was a good (and long) day for this duo right here!! Claire & Mack took home Champion in W/J/L Western Dressage Seat Equitation at the USDF Region 1 Youth Dressage Team Challenge at HITS Commonwealth Horse Park along with several other ribbons for their Basic Level tests (1 & 2). Proud of their hard work and thankful for our trainer, Lauren who has gotten them this far. We wouldn't be here without her!      Aimee
 

 I never thought I could love another horse like I did my Zip- my soulmate of yesteryear- but this creature, my goodness… she has chosen me to be her friend, her partner, her protector. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to love her and have her in my life. She simply soothes my soul. I can never thank you enough Cat Robertson and Big Valley Ranch. - Jennifer
